Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Leah moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina as a teenager. She then returned to the United States and obtained a bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley in Peace and Conflict Studies with a minor in Spanish. She went on to obtain a second bachelor’s in Spanish and ESOL Education and a master’s in Bilingual Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha where she also worked for the College of Education. Leah has a decade of experience teaching adults as well as at the graduate, undergraduate, and high school levels. When she isn’t teaching, Leah enjoys urban exploring, going to the coast, and trying new restaurants.
